Tectum Developers Corner July 29th Update
We are steadily walking down the path to achieving all we promised in our roadmap update. While there has been general preparation, the Tectum Developers Corner July 29th Update will focus on developing the SoftNote Wallet mobile app for testing.
Furthermore, our devs will also initiate several other upgrades and introduction to the ecosystem. This article will cover our level of progress and reassure community members of our commitment toward delivering on everything we promised.
Tectum Developers Corner July 29th Update: SoftNote Tests and Mobile App Launch
We are currently testing the Light Node that will enable developers to mint, fill, send, receive and handover custom tokens and SoftNote Bills. In addition, the beta version of the SoftNote Android and iOS app is currently under internal tests. The team wants to ensure that the application is functional enough before making it available to the community for further trials.
We mentioned the migration of Ethreum SoftNote Bills in a previous update. This process allows users to hold Ethereum Bills on the T12 network and spend no more than $1 on transactions. To ensure that this program is functional, Tectum will conduct numerous tests on it.
This measure is essential to avoid any hiccups once the migration is complete. The transition will be seamless and users will not notice any significant change.
Still on tests, we are running trials on the module for sending transactions on the Solana network. For a long time, our community members have requested that we integrate the Solana blockchain. The Tectum Developers Corner July 29th Update informs everyone that we’re closer to achieving this feat.
More Exciting Features Launching in the Coming Weeks
Away from SoftNote mobile app, we are creating a design for SoftNote Pay. For those who are fairly new to the ecosystem, SoftNote Pay is a virtual card payment system that enables users to purchase products and services from selected partners. Tectum is creating an intuitive interface that will foster mass adoption.
In other news, Tectum is updating the guide for SoftNote Wallet to cover new features that have been added to the wallet. The team is also creating new email templates for users. Development of the Telegram mini app is still ongoing. Very soon, individuals will use their SoftNote Wallet directly from the Telegram app.
Tectum has pushed out several updates for our block explorer. In addition, we have further simplified the X-Port section of the SoftNote Wallet. We want to ensure that individuals can always mint, fill, handover and accept SoftNote Bills regardless of their technical expertise.
