Tectum Developers Corner: June 6th Update
Tectum is here with another episode of the Developers Corner, particularly the June 6th update. This comes just a few weeks after we made significant changes to the SoftNote Wallet. This includes an overhaul of the Mint House section of the wallet to make it more intuitive. The team also added an onboarding segment that will properly usher people who are creating an account for the first time.
Following the release of these upgrades, the team is consolidating on these improvements for a well-rounded user experience. This article will outline further developments to the ecosystem, especially those engineered towards improving SoftNote Wallet’s performance.
Tectum Developers Corner June 6th Update: Improvements to the Ecosystem
To ensure that the system is in sync, Tectum is refactoring the SoftNote Wallet Mint House section. This process will ensure that all prior updates will trickle to the various individual wallets.
For a better understanding, think of this process as updating the software of your phone or computer. In this case, however, individuals do not have to do anything as the update will be done remotely.
In addition, we are renewing the API for XT.com to ensure users on this centralized exchange can enjoy the latest benefits of the T12 network. Meanwhile, the Tectum Developers Corner June 6th update features more than just stabilizing prior improvements.
The team already has plans in motion to release new features and upgrade existing functionalities. For example, our devs are already testing new tokens that will be added to the .cash mode.
This will ensure crypto scalability better than anything anyone has seen before. Users will no longer be restricted to just a few cryptocurrencies.
Besides preparation for the introduction of new currencies, Tectum is also test the “Passport” feature. Recall that the team earlier integrated passport.softnote.com into the SoftNote Wallet. This was to enable people to manage their assets easily, as their portfolio will be in one place.
Following that integration, Tectum is working to ensure that SoftNote Passport has utmost functionality within the Wallet. We do not intend to limit this feature in any way, despite making it a component in the wallet.
Finally, Tectum developers are rolling out significant updates to the “Help” segment of SoftNote Wallet.
