In this regard, the team is familiarizing developers with the Light Node and all its functions. This will help them prepare and properly utilize this product when it goes live
What is the Tectum Light Node?
Tectum Light Node is a cryptocurrency management tool that enables developers to create, send, and receive custom virtual tokens. For a better understanding, think of it as a more advanced and technical blockchain wallet with limitless virtual asset options.
Unlike the SoftNote Wallet, people are not restricted to sending and receiving already existing tokens. Users can create new tokens within the wallet and use them to make crypto payments.
The Tectum Light Node is a vital component of the Tectum blockchain. It provides simplified access to the blockchain network’s features. The Light Node is far more convenient to use, as it doesn’t require full synchronization with the entire blockchain.
How the Tectum Light Node Enhances Custom Token Development
The Tectum tailors the Light Node for efficient token management and transaction processing. Despite performing very complex commands, using the Light Node is seamless. Users can complete any function they want with no more than three clicks of their button.
Users can manage their keys and interact with the main network seamlessly. The interface does not make it seem like interacting with a blockchain network. Instead, it feels more like a regular crypto wallet.

Basic Account Set Up and Commands
To begin, download and run the Tectum Light Node file. Tectum will make the Light Node available for download when it goes live. During the installation process, your antivirus might flag it. Not to worry, the app is safe. Continue running all the required steps for installing the application on your computer.
The Light Node supports the following types of requests:
- Retrieve token balance for multiple tokens
- Get a list of all tokens
- Access information about specific tokens
- Create a new toke
- Transfer TET or other tokens
- Retrieve token transfer history
- Get smart contract address using the ID
- Recover account using seed phrase
- Retrieve public key through user ID
- Recover the public key using the session key

Real-World Applications of the Tectum Light Node
In practice, the Tectum Light Node provides a user-friendly interface for managing blockchain events in real-time. The “Node” window displays live blockchain events. The “Briefcase” window enables users to perform basic actions using TET test tokens.
Upon registration, users receive 1000 TET, visible in the “My tokens” section. You can share your TET address to receive or send tokens to other users.
The “Token” section provides information about the ICO of the token you’re using. The “Blocks” section shows details about specific block ranges. Finally, the “Report” section lists the last 10 transactions between network members.
