One of the most exciting developments in 2024 is Tectum’s attempt at setting a Guinness World Record for the highest number of transactions per second. Scheduled for March 12th, this ambitious goal was set to redefine blockchain scalability and cement Tectum’s reputation as a pioneer in blockchain technology. The first phase of this attempt saw Tectum Blockchain achieve an astonishing 3.5 million transactions per second.
2024 has also been a year of recognition for Tectum. We were honoured to win the prestigious “Best Blockchain Innovation” award at the Leaders in Fintech Awards 2024, which further solidified our position as a leader in blockchain innovation. In addition, Tectum’s CEO, Alex Guseff, received an individual award, acknowledging his visionary leadership and contribution to the blockchain sector. These accolades are not only a reflection of our team’s dedication but also of the disruptive potential that Tectum continues to bring to the table. “What’s even more honourable and prestigious than receiving a visionary award for me is seeing the growing recognition of my and team’s efforts at Tectum and being named as the “Best Blockchain Innovation””, believes Alex Guseff, the founder and the CEO of Tectum.
This year, we made significant strides in expanding our ecosystem with several new product launches. The introduction of Tectum Staking offered users new opportunities to participate in the blockchain’s growth, further enhancing the utility and value of the Tectum network. We also launched the SoftNote Ordinals NDFT, a cutting-edge development that brought non-fungible tokens to the SoftNote platform, expanding its functionality and potential in the digital asset space.
Tectum’s innovations were showcased at some of the year’s most prominent events, including the Blockchain Live TPS World Record Event. Our sponsorship of The Dubai FinTech Summit further highlighted our commitment to driving the future of finance and blockchain technology. Presenting SoftNote at the BRICS IFE Forum in Russia was another milestone, as we discussed the future of cross-border transactions and the role Tectum is playing in revolutionizing financial systems worldwide.
A key highlight of this year was the launch of Tectum Labs, our new “acceleration incubator” designed to support smaller businesses in their journey to innovate and grow within the blockchain ecosystem. Tectum Labs is part of our ongoing effort to empower entrepreneurs and startups, providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed in the fast-evolving world of blockchain technology.
This year, we launched the SoftNote iOS mobile app, which allows users in key markets—such as the USA, Russia, India, Brazil, Turkey, and Nigeria—to manage their cryptocurrencies on the go with cutting-edge security features like Face ID and Touch ID. Additionally, we updated the SoftNote Desktop Wallet, enhancing its functionality, security, and overall user experience, ensuring it remains a powerful tool for your cryptocurrency management.
The recent introduction of Tectum Explorer provided a powerful new tool for users to explore and interact with the Tectum blockchain, further enhancing transparency and accessibility.
The growth of the Tectum network in 2024 has been nothing short of remarkable. We saw the creation of 63,695 new wallets, marking a significant increase in adoption and participation. This growth speaks to the trust and confidence our users have in the Tectum ecosystem and reflects the broader trend of blockchain technology moving into the mainstream.
In addition to our technological achievements, Tectum made its mark on the global stage by attending eight summits and conferences around the world. These events, including the BRICS IFE Forum, where we presented SoftNote.
